That's really nice linework in that, and I'm really digging the composition. It's art nouveau, but not obviously a Mucha rip-off (that's a rant you don't want to get me started on :P )... I also like Belle's dress much better in this drawing than in the film- all that crinoline! Ugh! It's much more elegant here. ;)
Some people imitate the style of artists they like because they want to show a love for their work.

yes, I study art history and we have a subject named "stealing work" which also refers to compositions artist used of other artists and styles like I am using a Mucha like style here. But even Rembrandt did thos kinds of things, compying poses from engravings by 16th century artists. I would call this a "quotation" to Mucha ^^ tough I even made works that are even more linked to Mucha's style than this one
